In my quest to briefly review and grade everything I play or do – I present to you the 2004 war classic. Back when Activision still did stupid stuff like make good single player experiences.
Year Released: 2004
Developer: Spark Unlimited / Kuju Entertainment
Publisher: Activision
System(s): PlayStation 2 / GameCube / Xbox
Type of First Person Shooter: Military/War
Problem protagonist is preventing: This dickhead named Adolf Hitler taking over the world.
Other notes:
Based on the original PC game, Call of Duty it has its own separate story line.
AC/DC singer Brian Johnson provides the voice of Sergeant Starkey, one of the British commandos. Because of course he does.
Starts off in: Stalingrad, USSR

Ends up in: Bad Germany

Protagonist: The Allied Forces

A lot of really bad people amassed a lot of power in different countries and caused a lot of pain. Then some other countries kicked their asses.
RATINGS:
Historical Accuracy: 16/20
Story: 16/20
Controls: 16/20
Sound: 20/20
Graphics: 16/20
Overall: (84%)
Unbeknownst to all of us Call of Duty would take over the world a decade or so down the road but with apt contenders in the war market at the time (like the Medal of Honor series) Activision’s jump to the console theater is rock solid.
