In my quest to briefly review and grade everything I play or do – I present to you a personal favorite, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon.

Problem protagonist is preventing: Those Damn Russians from taking over all of Eastern Europe again.

The only Tom Clancy series to NOT actually be based on any of his works.
Starts off in: Russian/Georgian Border
Ends up in: Moscow, Russia
Protagonists: The Ghosts. An ultra elite military faction of specialists and snipers.
Ghost Recon is a fantastic blend of first person shooter and military strategy. You get assigned two teams which you can freely switch between to perform separate mission objectives or flush out entrenched enemies. The AI is pretty reckless and dumb but it’s easy to forgive given how fun the game is.

I think the only Tom Clancy game I played was Splinter Cell . It was challenging , but fun . I don’t think I ever beat it though . Probably swapped over to Ecco the Dolphin for PS2 lol

I loved the Ps2 Ecco the dolphin game 🐬 I wish they would make a new one for the Switch .
Remember the Sega Channel? I was way too poor to have it. But I had a friend who did. And I would wake up early at sleep overs and play Ecco. I’m still not sure why. I hated that damn game. It makes no sense 😂
I played the original ecco on sega , at a friend’s house . Tbh , I had no idea there was a Sega channel until I saw a YouTuber talk about it . I was thinking of buying an OG Ecco for the megadrive though .

I got some of the Tom Clancy games on demo discs! It was not my kind of game!

Ecco will be on my list. I found old ps1 Syphon Filter’s for cheap and I’m probably going fall down the worm hole soon when they come in the mail. 😂
I still need to select a title for Paradise – when I haven’t been updating reviews from old war games I’ve been down a NASCAR hole 😂
But alas, I’m sure Ecco will have his day in the sun.
