Hickey takes the starting QB job from Mark Sanchez in New York during the 2012 season.

Richard Hickey, a coveted mobile Quarterback who played at the University of Buffalo was drafted by the New York Jets in the 3rd RD following the drafting of USC hotshot, Mark Sanchez 5th Overall only a couple of years prior.

Unfortunately due to technical issues on my end, Hickey’s practice, preseason and first two professional games have not been documented but at the beginning of training camp he was projected to be Sanchez’s back up QB but eventually overtook him before the start of the season. So far going into week three, Hickey has led the jets to a 1-1 start.
