Behind the Stream with Luuccyyyxx
Luuccyyyxxx is a Twitch streamer who has been playing through the Resident Evil games. Being a super fan of the series myself, there are more than enough ridiculous moments that can (and should be) ridiculed and watching her streams is a delight because many of the head scratching decisions the characters are forced to do rarely go unnoticed.

When did your streaming journey begin?
Summer 2022!
What or who inspired you to want to start streaming games and building a community?
My friend Doug. He’s always loved watching streamers and I’d recently become reinterested in gaming, something I hadn’t done since I was younger. He convinced me to give it a try.

I do but it’s a little all over the place currently due to life circumstances. I’m in the EST time zone though and always posting about my upcoming streams beforehand!
What was the first game you streamed?
Resident Evil 1 Remake.
Do you have other streaming partners?
I have made wonderful friends in this community and sometimes play games/stream with them randomly. Also playing Resident Evil 5 currently with @s_to_the_mokey
What is the most outlandish thing that has happened to you while streaming or while you were watching someone stream?
Nothing too crazy (yet) but I like to switch it up so sometimes beanboozled, sometimes I show off my hula hooping skills and often my pug, Louis, makes appearances on stream.
What is your ideal Twitch community?
Kind, supportive, welcoming, funny friends which I have been lucky to find a lot of. We all watch each other stream and have fun in each others chats.
What are some things Twitch needs to address?
I don’t really have any complaints to be honest but I’m still finding my way so I don’t have a fair opinion.
What makes your streams unique?
We play scary games, we laugh and it’s always a great time. I love making new friends and we are all welcoming and have great conversation.
What would you tell a brand new streamer or wish that someone told you when you were first starting out?
I still feel like a brand new streamer so that’s tough. I guess just keep at it, be consistent with your schedule, don’t overdo it – I feel like around three streams each week is a perfect balance. Be kind and make friends and they will support you.
What is rewarding about streaming?
The friends that I’ve made. I can be having a terrible day and not want to stream but I do and it always ends up turning my day around.
